"I have owned, restored, bought and sold transportation cars, specialty cars, and sports cars my entire life. It became apparent to me that most people working in dealerships were not car enthusiasts but car salesmen.  I, on the other hand, believe that if I have the right car that I don't have to apologize for, and it was priced fairly, the car would sell itself and the customer wouldn't need me to talk them into it. This attitude didn't exist in the traditional car dealership.

I Then parted ways with traditional dealerships and I started The Car Source."                                                                                                     
Personal Bio:

 My wife of 25 years and I opened this business in 1989. I started working in the car business while in high school, as a lot boy for a local dealership and worked my way up the ladder. To this day I supply many local area new car dealerships with inventory for their used car lots.

Business philosophy:

1. When I'm looking at a car I always ask myself,
"Would I be proud to own this car myself?", If I can say "yes" then its nice enough to sell to my customers. If its not, I don't!

2. Give the customer as much information as I can about a vehicle to help them make an educated decision. I can usually find out ownership history, odometer history, and repair history on the vehicle I'm selling.

3.Try to sell only the best quality vehicles, I strongly believe that if I don't have to make any apologies for the vehicle, it will sell much easier. We sell no salvage cars, theft recoveries, flood cars, Lemon Law cars, etc. We strive to make sure everything is working properly on the vehicle prior to delivery.

4. Price fairly, usually our late model cars are priced significantly below retail blue book values and many times under wholesale values. The cheapest car is never the nicest car so we try to have balance by finding the best possible car at a reasonable price. 

5. Special Cars, as a certified car nut it is my duty to find cars that are truly fun to own.  You won't find many rental sedans, but you will  find cars that are sporty, fast, colorful and in exceptional condition. Cars that you don't mind making the payment on, and in the case with the classsic cars, many will appreciate in value as time goes by. 

Please understand that the specialty car part of our business is a side line business. We only have a few for sale at any one time and most of our time is spent with our primary business. This is fun for us and allows us to enjoy the specialty cars. We're not going to try and talk you into one. If you like it and want to buy it, that's good and we'll try and help. If you don't I really don't mind having it around. It will probably just go up in value!
